Potato Gratin

Just in time for autumn: four easy-to-make, cozy comfort recipes!


  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tbsp water
  • 1 potato, very thinly sliced
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese
  • Butter, for greasing
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • A few chives, finely chopped


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk the crushed garlic into the heavy cream, and set aside.
