Pudding Cake from the Baking Tray
Baked desserts don't have to be complicated to be delicious — the proof is in this easy vanilla pudding cake!
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 4 egg yolks
- 4 egg whites
- 1 ⅕ cups powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 vanilla bean
- Preheat oven to 320°F. Melt the butter in a pot and set aside. Heat the milk along with the vanilla bean.
- Cream the egg yolks with the powdered sugar, melted butter and water. Stir in the flour and milk.
