Strawberry Trifle

Money can be tight around the holidays. From the $3 cookies you will have to try to believe, to a show-stopping $25 trifle, Mia has got you covered - just because you’re on a budget doesn’t mean you have to skimp on style or taste!

Ingredients

  • 2 family size pound cakes
  • 2 5.1-ounce vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 half gallon whole milk
  • 1 quart of heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 each fresh strawberries, 16-ounce container
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Steps

  1. In a medium bowl, mix the milk and pudding mix until well combined, set-in fridge to set, 5 minutes.
  2. In the bowl of a stand mixer with the whisk attachment, whip the quart of cream with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
