SWEET BREAKFAST TOASTS

Start your day off sweet with these breakfast toasts.

Ingredients

  • Sourdough bread
  • 1tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • 1 banana
  • 2 tbsp light brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ cup chocolate spread
  • ½ cup strawberries
  • ½ tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp granulated white sugar
  • Mint leaves, for garnish
  • 1 peaches
  • ½ cup peach jam
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 3/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves
  • ¼ tso ground ginger
  • ½ cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ cup coconut cream
  • Lemon zest, for garnish
  • Honey, for garnish

Steps

  1. Slice the sourdough bread into 1/2-inch slices. Heat a frying pan and add butter. Once butter is melted, place the bread slices and toast both sides until gold and crispy.
  2. For the caramelized bananas, grab a cutting board a slice the banana ½-inch thick. Place light brown sugar in a non-stick frying pan and heat the sugar until it melts. Once it starts to bubble to a deep amber color, toss in the bananas and coat them in the caramel. Pour in the water and let it bubble for 1 minute until syrupy.
