SWEET BREAKFAST TOASTS
Start your day off sweet with these breakfast toasts.
Ingredients
- Sourdough bread
- 1tbsp butter
- ¼ cup peanut butter
- 1 banana
- 2 tbsp light brown sugar
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ cup chocolate spread
- ½ cup strawberries
- ½ tsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp granulated white sugar
- Mint leaves, for garnish
- 1 peaches
- ½ cup peach jam
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 3/4 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp ground cloves
- ¼ tso ground ginger
- ½ cup ricotta cheese
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ cup coconut cream
- Lemon zest, for garnish
- Honey, for garnish
Steps
- Slice the sourdough bread into 1/2-inch slices. Heat a frying pan and add butter. Once butter is melted, place the bread slices and toast both sides until gold and crispy.
- For the caramelized bananas, grab a cutting board a slice the banana ½-inch thick. Place light brown sugar in a non-stick frying pan and heat the sugar until it melts. Once it starts to bubble to a deep amber color, toss in the bananas and coat them in the caramel. Pour in the water and let it bubble for 1 minute until syrupy.
