Tiny Fried Chicken & Biscuit Sandwich
Ingredients
- Biscuit:
- 1 tablespoon flour
- Pinch sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch salt
- 1 teaspoon butter, cut into tiny cubes
- 1 teaspoon milk
- Honey, to serve
- Fried chicken:
- 3 tiny chicken thigh pieces
- 1 teaspoon flour
- 1 teaspoon quail egg
- 1 teaspoon breadcrumbs
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Steps
- For the biscuit: Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut butter into mixture until it forms a sand-like texture. Pour in milk and knead until dough forms. Roll out and cut into biscuit pieces. Place on a lined baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 4 to 6 minutes
- For the chicken: Heat the oil in a pot. Dredge the chicken in flour, then egg and then breadcrumbs. Fry until golden brown. Serve on the biscuits with a drizzle of honey.
