Tiny Fried Chicken & Biscuit Sandwich


  • Biscuit:
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • Pinch sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon butter, cut into tiny cubes
  • 1 teaspoon milk
  • Honey, to serve
  • Fried chicken:
  • 3 tiny chicken thigh pieces
  • 1 teaspoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon quail egg
  • 1 teaspoon breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil, for frying


  1. For the biscuit: Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut butter into mixture until it forms a sand-like texture. Pour in milk and knead until dough forms. Roll out and cut into biscuit pieces. Place on a lined baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 4 to 6 minutes
  2. For the chicken: Heat the oil in a pot. Dredge the chicken in flour, then egg and then breadcrumbs. Fry until golden brown. Serve on the biscuits with a drizzle of honey.
