Tiny Sage and Butter Gnocchi
These may be the cutest savory potato dumplings ever.
- 2 tablespoons mashed potato
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1/4 of whisked quail egg
- 2 teaspoons butter
- 1 sage leaf, chopped
- Cook and mash the potato. Mix the potato and flour; stir in egg.
- Kneed dough for 2 minutes, roll into a long, thin rope and cut into 1/8-inch pieces. Add pieces to boiling water and cook for 2 minutes; strain.
