Healthy "Twix Bars"
This healthy take on the classic candy makes the perfect sweet treat.
Ingredients
- For the Crust:
- 2/3 cup coconut flour
- 2 tbsp. pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 2 tbsp. full-fat coconut milk
- For the Caramel:
- 1 1/2 cups dates, pitted
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1 tbsp. unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tbsp. blackstrap molasses
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp. sea salt
- For the Chocolate Layer:
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp. coconut oil
- 2 tbsp. pure maple syrup
Steps
- To make the crust, combine the coconut flour, pure maple syrup, coconut oil, and coconut milk in a medium bowl.
- Press this mixture into a 9x5-inch loaf pan lined with parchment paper.
