Wagyu Beef Cutlet Sandwich

Wagyu beef is everything, and when it's made into a panko-breaded patty topped with crisp veggies it becomes a sandwich no one can say no to.

Ingredients

  • 300 grams wagyu sirloin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • Flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Panko bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons tonkatsu sauce
  • 2 tablespoons tartar sauce
  • 2 slices bread, lightly toasted
  • 1 teaspoon butter, softened at room temperature
  • 1/3 teaspoon mustard
  • 4-6 leaves lettuce
  • 2 sliced onions
  • 1/4 tomato, sliced

Steps

  1. Season beef with salt and pepper on both sides. Thoroughly coat with flour.
  2. Dip the beef into the beaten egg, followed by a nice coating of panko bread crumbs.
