Witch's Purple Soup

Perfect for Halloween, this cream and vegetable soup will have everyone talking.


  • 1/4 red cabbage
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • Pinch of baking soda
  • 50 milliliters cream
  • 300 milliliters water
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered bouillon
  • 30 grams butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


  1. Slice red cabbage and onion into shreds.
  2. Melt butter in a pot and add in the red cabbage and onion. Saute over medium heat until vegetables start to soften. Turn the heat down to low and continue to cook until cabbage has decresed in volume by half. Add in flour and cook for another minute.
