We are excited to host a Resident dinner on the evening of Tuesday, July 16th at Resident in the Navy Yard. Resident is a communal dining initiative supporting emerging culinary talent. Guests should arrive at 7pm. Your ticket will include a multi-course menu and wine pairings. Please kindly let us know if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions at your earliest convenience.

Chef Matt Cruz
Chef Matt Cruz was most recently was part of the Sous Chef team at 1 Michelin star, In Situ in San Francisco. Prior to In Situ, Cruz was the Executive Sous Chef of Lazy Bear, where he was instrumental in transforming the revered pop up to brick and mortar. Lazy Bear went on to receive 2 Michelin stars and Chef Cruz was named one of Zagat’s 30 under 30 in 2015. In addition to San Francisco, Cruz has spent time cooking professionally in Chicago and Los Angeles. Chef Cruz’s cuisine is inspired by his time spent cooking in California, living in the South, and his affinity for Japanese cuisine.
