A New Style of Networking: The Ampersand Dinner Each of us has a hobby, a family, and a story to tell. Our jobs don't define us. The Ampersand Dinners were created to allow folks to participate in meaningful conversation over a shared meal without revealing their profession. It is not until the end of the meal that you get to reveal what your job is. We want to connect people through conversation and food, because the table is where the best networking takes place. Please be willing to participate in vulnerable conversation and come without judgement. It’s hard to let down barriers, but this is a safe space to do so. **A portion of the night's proceeds will be donated to those affected by Hurricane Harvey in Texas**

Pimento Cheese Toast Points
Appetizer
House made, true southern style Pimento cheese with cheddar, onion, a little jalapeño and pimento all served on toast points and for our gluten free folks, a little endive boat.
Smoked BBQ Pulled Pork
Entree
Our pork shoulder is smoked for 8 hours and then served with our HOG (House of Grits) S & S Que Sauce. A blend of onions and sweet potatoes with a bit of a spicy kick.
Grilled Chicken
Entree
We marinate our Mary's Farm Fresh chicken for a total of 24 hours and then grill to perfection basting it with our HOG (House of Grits) wash. Sliced and served for easy eating!
Cheesus Mac n Cheese

A Grits staple and fan favorite! This mac n cheese is biblical with it's 13 different cheeses and from scratch béchamel sauce. The mac is so good that we always have to prepare second and third helpings!
Vegan Baked Beans

We start with a classic over night soak of navy beans and then let them simmer with a bit of caramelized onion and our signature HOG (House of Grits) vegan bbq sauce. You'd swear there's meat in it. I assure you, this dish is completely vegan!
Southern Slaw

A blend of purple cabbage, carrots, and bell peppers are mixed together with a little diced jalapeño. We then add our mustard base slaw dressing to make for a nice and refreshing side salad.
Gram's Peach Cobbler Crumble
Dessert
A church house favorite. Our farm fresh peaches are roasted first to bring out the nature sugars and then tossed with a bit of fresh minced ginger. We make our crumble topping with toasted pecans, oats, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and mace. It's all cooked off to a nice golden crisp ready to be enjoyed with our fresh ginger whipped cream served on the side.
Sun Brewed Peach Ice Tea

I can't take too much credit, the sun does most the work, I just toss in some delicious peaches to add that extra sweetness without all the caloric guilt.
Fresh Lemonade

Cool and refreshing, our lemonade is always on the tart side to beat some of the heat.
