Chef Rob Rossi has worked his way through the ranks in some of the best kitchens in Canada to get to the top of the industry. The second-place winner from the first season of Top Chef Canada, and one of the stars of Chef in Your Ear, Rossi has over 15 years of experience under his belt, having worked at top-rated restaurants such as Canoe, Habitat, Mercatto, and The Chef’s Table. In 2011, Rossi opened his first restaurant, Bestellen, where the emphasis was on “made by hand” ingredients — something that the European-inspired tavern quickly became known for. Following his opening, he was graciously invited to the James Beard House and participated in a Canadian-inspired dinner that featured the country’s best. Today, Rossi is a Chef/Partner at L’Unita, and Italian concept restaurant “Giulietta” in Toronto.
