Hello Everyone! My name is Sam. I've always had a passion for food and really enjoyed Japanese cuisine.
My unique story is that I went from working in various fast food restaurants to then working for Iron Chef Morimoto's restaurant in NYC. My time w/ Morimoto Restaurant group was highly valuable as I was able to refine my skills/techniques and walked away as a sushi expert by learning from some of the best. From there, I decided to work join NY's Sushi by Bou & Sushi by M to explore another Japanese concept called 'Omakase', which is where the customer leaves it up to the chef to serve seasonal specialties.
Currently, I am hosting sushi classes in New York to educate others a little bit about sushi and how to make it at home.
