Livestream
Join chef Dennis Lee (Namu Stonepot) and his daughters for a family-friendly class on some of his favorite homestyle Korean dishes. Spice up your quarantine and learn how to make cheesy scallion pancakes, pork kimchee stir fry, potato egg drop soup, and how to cook white rice in a pot! --- Dennis grew up in the suburbs outside of Boston with his brothers Daniel, and David. The Lee brothers spent many hours working at their mother's popular pan-Asian restaurant, Dah-Mee. Years later, after all three moved one-by-one to San Francisco, they were naturally drawn to a reuniting of food and family and created Namu Gaji and Namu Stonepot which focus on local produce and Korean culinary traditions. --- The Memorial Day Weekend "Chefstival" brings together over a dozen of the Bay Area's top chefs to host one-of-a-kind interactive cooking classes through ChefsFeed Experiences. Half of all ticket proceeds go directly to the host chefs and their staff, the other half goes to the nonprofit SF New Deal. SF New Deal is a nonprofit that partners with small businesses and community organizations to provide income for workers and meals for neighbors in need. They directly fund restaurants, keeping businesses open, workers employed, and vulnerable people fed.
