- Thank God this is the last day of the month. - Month of pie seemed like such a good idea at the time, but right now it's more like month of thighs. Right? 'Cause I keep spilling pie on my legs. - By the end of this I was supposed to have a nice squishy butt, but I think it's all gone to my wrists. Is that normal? - Sasha, you have bodacious wrists. The real problem is that we haven't moved in the past five hours, like when was the last time we changed clothes? Two days ago. - You're about to say we need exercise. - What we need is clean under garments, also exercise. - Okay, but we're gonna have to do more than step aerobics to Pride and Prejudice. - Mr. Darcy, Mr. Dacry. ♫ Two small people have a whole lot of feelings ♫ We have more feelings than an onion has peelings ♫ We are always ♫ We are always hungry - [Narrator] Eat our feelings. - [Narrator] Eat our feelings, please. - Thank you so much for class everyone. And remember your breath is your constant mantra. - Yoga is so great. I feel so fit. - My endorphins are on fire right now. - That's not what that means. - Winters and Gonzalez. - [Both] Hi, Janine. - Wait, so you exclusively ate pie for a month straight? - Yep, if it wasn't in a pie crust, it wasn't in our mouths. - Which meant that once or twice we just ate stuff wrapped up in raw pie dough. Seaweed salad pie, surprisingly tasty. - It was okay. - Ladies, your bodies are in anguish and I can hear the screams. I'm putting you on my own special juice cleanse and fitness routine. - We never asked for tha-- - When I'm juicing my skin glows and my energy shoots through the roof. - Yeah, but last time you were juicing you hallucinated that I was covered in ferrets. - Right, in my heightened state of emotional awareness, I was able to access your true animal spirit. - Your spirit is a little ferret-y. - Also I was on a bunch of pills, but irregardless, you two have lost your glow and I'm gonna get it back. Hello? Uh-huh. Tell me about-- Just a second. Yeah, so no I would definitely have it sent over. - This would be so much better with focaccia. - Janine, my super athletic bod needs fiber and fat. - No, you're doing fine on fat. You need alkalized water and spirillemia. So just drink up, acknowledge your inner goddess, and do some breath work. - Breathing isn't fun when it doesn't lead to spaghetti. - Trust. Now I need you two to go home and give each other those gentle eucalyptus gout massages and drink the juice. You'll see. - Still hungry. Need more juice. - Eat it with a spoon and pretend it's gazpacho. Terrible gazpacho. Are you seeing what I'm seeing? - What does it want? - Janine has bangs and she won't share her noodles! - We have to eat something. - Some people love a juice cleanse and we salute them because they're super heroes, but right now, after a long day of heavy lifting-- - Janine made Sasha bench press me. - We need something more substantial. - So we're making twice baked sweet potatoes with kale, beans, pickled cabbage, and tahini lime sauce. - It's our super fun take on a macro biotic bowl! - You're gonna love it. - You'll need three sweet potatoes, one and a half cups of kale, chopped. One yellow onion, chopped, two cloves of garlic, minced, one cup Suzuki beans, adzuki. A third a cup of sunflower seeds. A third a cup of raisins. One tablespoon coconut oil. - [Narrator] A third a cup of salt, one cup of water, one cinnamon stick, two teaspoons of coriander seeds, a half head of cabbage, two teaspoons of tamari, one tablespoon of cilantro, chopped. The juice of one lime, one pinch of cayenne, a fourth a cup of tahini, two cups of apple cider vinegar. - Okay so we've preheated our oven to 400 so now we're gonna put in these sweet potatoes for about 30 minutes or until they can be pierced with a fork. - Now we're quick pickling cabbage. We've got it cut into ribbons over here, now we're gonna bring the other ingredients to the stove and heat things up. Oh, why thank you. - You're welcome. - Bring the vinegar, salt, water, cinnamon, and coriander seeds to a boil. Now pour this liquid over the cabbage and let it sit 'til it's cooled to room temperature, then put it in the fridge. Yeah. - Now let's take out the potatoes. We're gonna cut these potatoes in half and let them cool. - While she's doing that I'm gonna get the kale, the onions, and the coconut oil over to saute. - And this ones for Janine who's power lunging her way over here. - Now these are growing translucent but they're not brown so let's add the kale. A little bit more salt. Now that our kale's cooked and our potatoes are cooled we're gonna start scooping them. - You want to make sure to leave a little bit of flesh so that they keep their nice bowed shape. These are like twice baked potatoes, but without all the stuff that makes you feel like your body is committing mutiny. So I'm gonna add my sunflower seeds. And now the raisins. - Remember how gross that juice was? - I'll never forget. - Do you think Janie will like these? - I think Janine hasn't had solid food in a long time, so. Alright so now we're gonna refill our sweet potatoes and cook for another 20 minutes. Okay let's get these in. - Now we're making a nice light tahini sauce to drizzle over the sweet potatoes. We'll add cilantro, cayenne, tamari, lime juice, and you'll probably need a little bit of water to thin it out. Food! - This guy here, this guy there. Now let's scoop on these beans. These are adzuki beans, we soaked and boiled these. If you want to use canned beans, that's totally fine just make sure they're rinsed and drained. - And now we're gonna put on some of this vibrant pickled cabbage. - Oh my gosh, fun fact about this cabbage, the acidity of the vinegar brightens the color. - Pretty groovy, huh? - Alright, let's hit this with the tahini sauce, little drizzle over top. - This meal is so nutritious I can't even handle it. - Um, I'm so hungry I can't even handle it. - It's so good. - Oh my gosh. - We better get to Janine before she passes out. - Oh, you're right. Have we stopped glowing yet? - Well my hands have stopped shaking, so that's a good sign. - How you doing there, girl? - Oh my God, I was so hungry. Is anybody else regaining the ability to see out of their left eye?
