- I'm Jen Phanomrat, I'm a foodie, chef, and television host. - Hey, my name is Naomi and I like to put chocolate chips on everything! - This budding chef is about to watch a recipe video and teach me step by step how to re-create it. - Okay, what is that pink stuff? Onions, flour. Oh of course it is meatballs. Oh It's from the Lady and the Tramp. Okay, I think this is actually gonna be good. - I started my career as a museum educator, but today the teacher becomes the student. Hello. - Hi. - Hi, I'm Jen. - I'm Naomi. - Hi Naomi, nice to meet you. - Nice to meet you too. - I like your apron. - I like your shirt. - I have a bunch of veggies on it. I hear we're gonna make something really yummy today, is that true? - Yes, so, we need a bowl. Okay, let's bring it up here. - Alright. So what are we gonna put in this bowl? - We need something, I don't know what the pink stuff is. We need olive oil. But first we need actually the pink stuff and brown stuff. - Let's see. - This is it. - Is that it? Awesome. - Okay, so we're gonna get these. - Okay. - Ew that's disgusting I swear. - Good thing we have this so we don't have to touch it. - Oh yeah. Okay second of all, you need this like... I don't know where it is. - This one? - Yep. - This looks like parsley. Should I add this to the bowl? - Yeah. - ♪ Lalalalala sprinkle sprinkle. ♪ - ♪ Lalalalala ♪ - What else is there? - Could you bring this one? I'll bring this one. - Sure. So we have flour. - And we have-- - Powdered sugar and bread crumbs. - What we're gonna do is grab a little bit and spice it around. - How about the flour, do I do the same thing? - Yeah. - So it looks like we're making meatloaf or hamburger? - We're not making meatloaf or hamburger. - No? I've never had meat with powdered sugar before. - Oh we put powdered sugar? - Yeah. - Oh this is powdered sugar. - Now what about this salt and pepper business over here. - Oh yeah, we're gonna need that. So I'll do salt and you do pepper. Ready, set. - Ready, three, two, one. - Whaah! - Nice! Now what? - Egg, we need egg. We need egg. - We need egg. I saw eggs in the fridge when we opened it up. - I've made pancakes before actually. My mom. - Now do we mix? - No, we mix it up with our hands. Oh this is so messy I swear! - But if you close your eyes, it's not as bad. - No, it's super bad! Oh no my hand's covered with the green stuff. - This is lovely Naomi, this is the best. - No it's not, no it's not. Okay, do you have dough? - Dough, ooh. - We need dough to put this in there. - Interesting. Or cheese, I see a lot of cheese. - I think we need cheese actually. Get the cheese please. So get the string cheese. - This looks like the whitest, Yeah, is this it? Now what should we do with this cheese? - I'm gonna make a hole. - Okay. - Cut it up, a circle. - [Jen] It's cute, it's cute cheese. And then, so we'll each have a job. - We need these for pans. We need this in a pan. - Pans, okay. Is that a good size? - Yeah. - And then what do you do? - Just make a little hole, and then put the cheese in there. Okay. - So I put this on the stove now? - Yes and then you turn on the stove. Okay, that's good. Now we gotta wait, and then we get one of these. - So let's bring that over to the counter. Oh hang on that's pretty sharp. So what are we gonna do with this? Okay. Is it coming out now? - Yes, yes, yes, its coming out, its coming out. - Are we making veggie noodles? - Yeah. - Cool. So I'll turn these over. They look really good. I'm gonna put this on the stove now. Is that it? So I'll move this guy over here, and I'll turn this one on, 'cause it's gotta keep cooking right, until it gets nice and brown? - Wait, did you put the olive oil? - Not yet, how much should I put, you tell me when. - Okay just go drizzle, drizzle, drizzle, drizzle, okay that's enough! Okay now. - [Jen] Should I flip these over? - Yeah flip them over. You might have to put ketchup. - We're putting ketchup? - Oh we need the sauce. We need this, I almost forgot it. Jar of sauce. - Tomato sauce. How much do I put? - All of it. - [Jen] Whoah, it's a tomato bath. - I know. - So where are we bringing this? - Right here. In front of me, not you. - Alright, now what? - We need that plate over there. - Okay. - This plate. Gonna, oops. - Here I'll hold it and you take it out. Yum. - Okay, give me the meatballs. ♪ Meatballs, meatballs, meatballs. ♪ Grab a meatball. - Yum. - There, oopsie. - So what did we make here today? - Lady and the Tramp zoodles! - Awesome, I love Lady and the Tramp. Do you think I did a good job? - Yes, and since you did a good job, close your eyes. Do not look. - Not looking! - Open up. - Aw thank you! Lady and the Tramp, that's so sweet. So this is the one from the video, and this is the one we made. - Let's taste yours first. Cheers to meatballs. - Boop. - You don't like them? Oh no. - The powdered sugar and the meatballs, they did not work. No. - No. Do you think you'd put them next time you make meatballs? - Maybe I will. - So should we try these? - Yeah.
