In a magimix, blend your cashew nuts until they become a coarse powder, add a tablespoon of cocoa powder. Do not over blend the cashews as they have a high fat content, and will eventually become cashew butter.
Transfer the nuts to a bowl. Then add the chopped dates to the blender, blend them until the form a sticky ball in the blender. Add to the cashew nuts. Grate the zest of an orange into the bowl and mix thoroughly with your hands to completely combine.
Line a tupperware container with a couple of sheets of cling film and press the date and nut dough into the container. Using a spoon or something flat, press the dough out completely flat, around 2 cm thick.
Refrigerate dough for 30 mins, before removing and cutting it into the required sizes.
