Lime Ice Cream

Sugar Fix - "A Fruit Frenzy"


  • Freshly squeezed juice of 6 limes
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • Lime zest of 2 limes


  1. In a double boiler, combine the juice, butter, eggs, and sugar. Stir until mixture thickens. Set aside to cool.
  2. In a bowl, beat the whipping cream until soft peaks form. Add the lime juice mixture and lime zest.
  3. Pour into a container and place in freezer for 6 hours.
  4. Remove from freezer, scoop, and enjoy!
