Coffee drinkers of the world, get ready for a very strange brew. A delicious, little known method of making coffee that requires, you guessed it, an egg.

Norwegian Egg Coffee

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons ground coffee (medium or coarse)

  • 1 egg

  • 4 cups water

Instructions

  1. Bring 3 cups of water to a boil.

  2. Combine egg, coffee grounds and 3 tablespoons of cold water into a paste.

  3. Mix the paste into your pot of boiling water, simmering for 3 minutes.

  4. Remove from heat and add one cup of cold water.

  5. Strain into a pitcher or individual glasses and enjoy :)
