This teeny deep fried mac n cheese will leave you craving more.
5 elbow macaroni, cooked
1/4 teaspoon butter
1 teaspoon flour
2 teaspoons milk
2 teaspoons shredded cheese
1/2 teaspoon breadcrumbs
1/2 quail egg
1 tablespoon breadcrumbs
Oil, for frying
In a saucepan, melt butter, stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Add milk and stir until thick. Stir in cheese and remove from heat.
Cut pasta into 1/8-inch pieces and mix with cheese sauce. Place in a baking dish and top with breadcrumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 3 to 5 minutes. Chill in the fridge until hard.
Cut mac 'n' cheese into tiny pieces. Heat oil in a pot. Dip mac 'n' cheese pieces in egg then breadcrumbs and fry in hot oil until golden brown.
