• 1/2 teaspoon butter
  • 1 tiny onion
  • 1 tablespoon ground beef
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 pieces rye bread
  • 1 slice Swiss cheese


  1. Cook onions in butter until caramelized; remove from pan.
  2. Mix ground beef, Worcestershire, salt and pepper. Form into a patty and cook in a skillet until done.
  3. To assemble, place burger on a piece of bread, top with cheese and onions and another slice of bread. Cook in the skillet until toasted on both sides.
