Tiny Smoked Brisket

They say everything is bigger in Texas. Perhaps not.


  • 1-inch piece of brisket
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/2-inch piece bacon, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon beans
  • 1/4 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon paprika


  1. Sprinkle brisket with salt and pepper. Add to smoker and smoke for several hours.
  2. Prepare the beans. Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Cook bacon until crisp.
  3. Add beans to the pan with brown sugar and paprika. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Serve brisket with baked beans and slaw.
