Ingredients
- For the brownie:
- 1 teaspoon flour
- 1/8 teaspoon cocoa powder
- 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch salt
- 1/2 teaspoon butter
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon water
- 5 mini chocolate chips
- Dash vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon egg, beaten
- To finish:
- 1 tablespoon strawberry ice cream
- 1 tablespoon meringue
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a small bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
- In a saucepan, combine butter, sugar and water. Bring to a simmer, and stir in chocolate chips and vanilla. Cool slightly. Add wet ingredients to dry and add the beaten egg. Stir to combine, and pour into baking dish. Bake for 8 minutes. Allow to cool.
- Trim brownie to fit into a small bowl. Line the bowl with plastic wrap and fill with strawberry ice cream. Top with brownie and freeze until hardened.
- Remove from freezer and turn out onto a plate. Top with meringue and toast with a kitchen lighter until browned.
