Tiny Churros

Paired with chocolate sauce, deep-fried sticks of cinnamon sugar goodness are always tasty, no matter the size.


  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 1/2 teaspoon butter
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 quail egg
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Mexican chocolate dipping sauce:
  • 1 tablespoon cream
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chocolate
  • Pinch cinnamon
  • Pinch cayenne


  1. To make churro batter, combine water, butter and salt. Bring to a boil. Stir in flour to form a ball and beat in egg. Heat oil, pipe churros into hot oil and fry.
  2. To make chocolate: heat cream and chocolate to melt; stir in spices.
  3. Sprinkle churro with cinnamon and sugar and dip in Mexican chocolate.
