Think of this as a super mini corn dog on a stick.

Tiny Corn Dog

Ingredients

  • Oil to fry
  • 2 tablespoons cornmeal
  • 11/2 tablespoon flour
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Hot dog, cut and sliced into a 1/2-inch piece
  • Toothpick
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Mustard, to serve

Steps

  • Mix cornmeal, flour, sugar and milk, reserving a bit of the flour.
  • Put hot dog on the end of toothpick and dip first in cornstarch and then in batter.
  • Fry in oil until golden brown. Serve with mustard.
