Frito Chili Pie

  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ground beef
  • ¼ teaspoon taco seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons canned tomato sauce
  • 2 teaspoons pinto beans
  • 1 teaspoon cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1-inch piece crescent roll dough
  • 3 Frito chips, crushed


  • 1 teaspoon green onions, thin slices
  • 1 teaspoon sour cream


Frito Chili Pie

  1. In a sauté pan, add vegetable oil and onion, then cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Next, add ground beef and seasoning.
  2. Stir together and cook until browned. Mix in tomato sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. In a baking pan, press the dough, then add the pinto beans. Add chili and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
  4. Bake for 8 minutes until cheese is golden brown.
  5. Top with crushed Fritos and green onion slices. Add a dollop of sour cream on top. Serve, and enjoy!
