Tiny Jello Cubes & Color Changing Lemonade

Say "jello" to the cutest 4th of July treat.

Color Changing Lemonade


  • 1 tablespoon water, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon butterfly pea flowers
  • 1 teaspoon fresh squeezed lemon juice


  • In a saucepan, add half the water and butterfly pea flowers and bring to a simmer.
  • Allow to steep for 10 minutes.
  • Combine remaining water and lemon juice. Strain the pea flower water and stir in sugar, add to a pitcher, pour lemon water over the top.
  • Watch the color begin to change and then stir to combine.

Red, White and Blue Jello Cubes


  • 1/4 teaspoon red jello
  • 1/4 teaspoon blue jello
  • 2 teaspoons boiling water, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon cold water, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon whipped cream


  • Add red jello to a bowl and blue jello to a separate bowl.
  • Stir 1 teaspoon boiling water to each bowl to dissolve jello.
  • Pour into pan to set.
  • When jello is set remove from pan and cut into cubes.
  • Add the cubes to a parfait glass and top with whipped cream.
