• 1 tiny potato, peeled and chopped
  • 1 tiny onion
  • 1 teaspoon beef broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
  • Salt and pepper
  • Pinch of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon German mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • Chives, for garnish


  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add potatoes. Cook until soft. Set aside in a bowl.
  2. In a saucepot, add oil and onions. Season with salt and pepper and saute onions. Add broth, vinegar, sugar and mustard. Bring to a boil, then pour over potatoes. Let sit for 20 minutes. Drain excess liquid from potatoes and garnish with chives.
