• 1 tablespoon ground beef
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced sweet onion
  • 1 teaspoon chopped mushroom
  • 1/2 tablespoon beef broth
  • 1/4 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon cooked rice
  • Fried egg
  • Parsley, to garnish


  1. Mix the ground beef, salt and pepper and form a tiny patty. Heat the oil in a pan and cook burger for 2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside. Add mushroom and onion to the pan and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in broth and bring to a simmer. Mix cornstarch with a little water to form and paste and stir into gravy. Cook until thickened.
  2. To serve: Place the cooked rice on a plate and top with burger, gravy and egg. Garnish with fresh parsley.
