When you're in need of a little comfort, look no further than this cheesy favorite.
5 elbow macaroni
1 teaspoon butter
1 teaspoon flour
2 teaspoons milk
2 teaspoons shredded cheese
1/2 teaspoon breadcrumbs
Boil water, add pasta and cook 8-10 minutes.
To a saucepan add butter and melt, then stir in flour. Cook for 1 minute. Add milk and stir until thick. Stir in cheese and remove from heat.
Cut pasta into 1/8 inch pieces and mix with cheese sauce. Plate and top with breadcrumbs.
