Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon ketchup
  • 1/4 teaspoon molasses
  • 1/4 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon minced chipotle in adobo
  • 1/4 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

Steps

  1. In a saucepan, add garlic, onion, ketchup, molasses, brown sugar, chipotle pepper and vinegar and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1-inch piece pork shoulder
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 sandwich roll

Steps

  1. Rub pork with salt, pepper, chili powder and garlic powder. Place in smoker and cook for 1 hour. Remove and set aside.
  2. Shred pork and stir into sauce. Serve on sandwich roll with coleslaw and potato salad on the side.
