Tiny Shepherd's Pie

A little savory pie can still be packed with big flavor.


  • 1 tablespoon mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced carrot
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced celery
  • Thyme
  • 1 tablespoon ground beef
  • 1/8 teaspoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon broth


  1. Sauté vegetables over medium heat. Add meat and thyme and cook until browned. Add flour and broth and simmer.
  2. Pour in an oven-proof dish and top with mashed potatoes. Bake at 400°F until lightly browned.
