These teeny wontons wouldn't be complete without some soup!
1 1/2 tablespoons chicken broth
1/4 inch piece ginger
1/4 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon ground pork
1/8 teaspoon soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon chives
1/8 teaspoon rice vinegar
1/4 teaspoon cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon grated ginger
Pinch crushed red pepper flakes
3 tiny wonton wrappers
Green onions, to garnish
In a pot, heat all broth ingredients.
In a bowl, combine ground pork, soy sauce, chives, rice vinegar, cornstarch, grated ginger and red pepper flakes. Place a tiny pinch of pork mixture in the center of each wonton. Paint one corner with water and fold another corner on top of it. Place in broth and simmer for 4 minutes. Garnish with chives.
