Tiny Wonton Soup

These teeny wontons wouldn't be complete without some soup!


  • Broth:
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons chicken broth
  • 1/4 inch piece ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon soy sauce
  • Wontons:
  • 1 teaspoon ground pork
  • 1/8 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon chives
  • 1/8 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated ginger
  • Pinch crushed red pepper flakes
  • 3 tiny wonton wrappers
  • Green onions, to garnish


  1. In a pot, heat all broth ingredients.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground pork, soy sauce, chives, rice vinegar, cornstarch, grated ginger and red pepper flakes. Place a tiny pinch of pork mixture in the center of each wonton. Paint one corner with water and fold another corner on top of it. Place in broth and simmer for 4 minutes. Garnish with chives.
