With a Kurdish father and a Mexican mother who both love to cook I had no choice but to be surrounded by good food from a young age. My father treated his gourmet grocery store as a daycare as he let me follow my favorite employees around and eat all the samples I could get my hands on, all the while learning about different types of food. Started cooking at the age of 14 when my father opened an Italian restaurant which opened my eyes to the chaos of a restaurant kitchen but also instilled me with a strong work ethic and passion for cooking. Been working in the natural foods industry since 2004 where I really started embracing the magic in the kitchen. I regularly host dinners for friends and family and would love to host YOU soon!
