This dinner will feature French cuisine as well as some delicious dishes from my mother's kitchen. She is a great home cook and you will discover the dishes she made when we had guests at home in their house in Nantes, France. I will be super happy to share that with you all. :) As an added bonus, as an attendee to this dinner, you are eligible for a 3 day trial to Equinox Sports Club San Francisco. We will collect names and email addresses from you at the dinner to send you your pass.

Menu detail

L'aperitif / Buckwheat blinis & smoked salmon
Gluten free buckwheat blinis, topped with smoked salmon, sour cream and dill.
L'entrée / the Starter
Small Plate
Our most favorite starter with my husband : organic heirloom tomatoes, mozzarella di buffala and fresh basil. Though this one is not technically difficult to make, it all relies on finding the perfect produce.
Le Poisson / the Fish
Wild fresh ling cod (or freshest fish from the Fish market) with quinoa, a leek reduction and the absolute beurre blanc sauce. The fish will be served with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc.
La Viande / the Meat
That dish is not traditional French but it comes from my mom's kitchen and has a very special place in my heart. It is a curry lamb stew with a touch of coconut milk and many spices. The dish will be served with a glass of red Sancerre.
Le Dessert / Pavlova
Pavlova is to me the best way to finish a dinner. It is perfectly light and airy. A meringue based cake with a vanilla whipped cream (real vanilla beans from Madagascar) and topped with fresh berries...
