The Chef’s Connection will host the 10th annual Great Gathering of Chefs, one of the premiere reception events celebrating the profession in the world. This year, the event will honor the 101 chefs featured in the newly released book, “Toques In Black: A Celebration Of Black Chefs,” which shares the stories and recipes of 101 of black chefs from around the country, with photos by award-winning food photographer, Battman. Autographed books will be available at the event. Proceeds from the event and book sales will fully fund The Chef’s Connection Line Program at Food and Finance High School, a free, weeklong training and placement initiative to land minority candidates jobs in leading restaurants.
