When local farmers, ranchers, and chefs come together, good things are bound to happen. The Farm Project is excited to celebrate the bounty and rich culinary tradition of Central Texas with Chef Jesse Griffiths (Dai Due) presenting an array of dishes that feature the freshest in-season ingredients sourced from all local and sustainable purveyors, courtesy of Farmhouse Delivery & Truckin' Tomato. We're also teaming up with Wreckroom Records’ BayLi McKeithan for this exclusive culinary adventure & musical extravagance you won't want to miss. About The Farm Project: The Farm Project was founded in 2016 by Zooey Deschanel, Jacob Pechenik and Greg Campbell as a response to the modern industrialized food system. Through a series of initiatives designed to bring farms to people and get people out to local farms, we are working to close the gap between us and our food system. Chef Jesse Griffiths: Jesse Griffiths is the chef/owner of Dai Due Butcher Shop and Supper Club along with his partner, Tamara Mayfield, and head instructor of the New School of Traditional Cookery. Dai Due was created in 2006 to reconsider what “our” food is and will be. By using ingredients that are present in the region, he is able to serve foods that are fresher, buy food that is produced in a fair and equitable way, represent local culinary traditions, and support farmers and ranchers who are striving to improve the quality of our food. In 2012, Jesse authored Afield: a chef's guide to preparing and cooking wild game and fish, which was nominated for a James Beard award. Bayli McKeithan: Blending fierce melodic hooks with a punk rock attitude, Bayli is one of this generation's most liberating and redefining voices in contemporary music. Since she was 16 years old, Bayli has gone from scribbling on pages to commanding stages and working alongside the likes of Justin Trantor, The Heavy, D.R.A.M., Daytrip, and Rick Rubin . Bayli’s forward-thinking approach to songwriting as well as her genre defying style, effervescent swagger, and undeniable charisma have garnered her the praise of The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Complex, and The FADER . With a voice that's impossible to ignore and a penchant for substantive, inclusive and empowering songwriting, Bayli is everything we need and deserve from a 21st century artist.
