Traci Des Jardins is a chef/co-owner of six restaurants. She is one of the top female chefs in the country, a two-time James Beard award-winner and has earned a number of industry accolades throughout her career. Before opening her first restaurant, she worked in some of the highly acclaimed kitchens in Los Angeles, France, and New York City. She is classically trained in French cuisine by some of the best chefs and restaurateurs in the world. Traci is the culinary advisor to Impossible Foods, which launched the Impossible Burger -- revolutionary plant-based meat and sits on the board of the local non-profit La Cocina. After 21 years of service, Traci decided to close her flagship restaurant Jardinière, in April 2019. She will continue to oversee her other San Francisco restaurants and plans to pivot from French-influenced cooking to focus on Mexican food.
