The word "laksa" (luck-saah) in the Malay language refers to a broad variety of mainly non-wheat noodles such as rice, tapioca and bean starch noodles. Like pasta, laksa can come in different shapes and sizes and can be served in various broths or brothless with flavorful sauces.
