While most think of "laksa" as a noodle dish with spicy coconut broth, this menu features a lesser known laksa dish from the Food Capital of Malaysia - the partial island state of Penang on the northwestern coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Asam Laksa (also spelled Assam Laksa) is repeatedly ranked one of the world's most delicious foods by CNN (Ref 2nd photo).

Served with thick tapioca noodles, fresh mint, pineapple, shredded cucumber, Thai chillies, banana blossom and a spoon of petis udang.
