• 6 slices bread, crusts removed
  • 6 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 6 hot dogs
  • Beaten egg
  • Panko
  • Frying oil
  • Mustard, for serving


  1. Lay out the bread slices and use a rolling pin to flatten. Top with a slice of cheese, then add a hot dog and roll up. Repeat the process with the other slices.
  2. Wrap each hot dog in a piece of foil and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  3. Remove foil, dip in the beaten egg and then the panko.
  4. Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
  5. Serve with mustard.
