Corn Poached in Milk With Honey and Thyme
- 4 ears of corn
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 cups milk
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup honey, plus more for drizzling
- 5 sprigs thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Flaky sea salt
- Butter for serving
- Honey for drizzling
- Heat the butter in a medium-large sized pot. Add the onion and sauté until soft.
- In a large pot, add water, milk, honey, thyme sprigs and salt; bring to a boil. Add corn and cook for 5-6 minutes.
- Remove corn and serve with butter, a drizzle of honey and a sprinkle of sea salt.
