5 Ingredient Maple Mustard Salmon

Sweet and spicy salmon is perfect when you need a quick, easy meal.


  • 2 tablespoons real maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons grainy mustard
  • 2 teaspoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, grated on microplane or minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 4 (6-ounce) center-cut salmon fillets
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper


  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a rimmed sheet tray with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together syrup, mustard, soy sauce, garlic and cayenne in a small bowl.
  3. Season salmon with salt and pepper. Brush with maple sauce and roast until cooked through and opaque, about 15 minutes.
