Ingredients

  • Puff pastry
  • Cooked vegetables (peas, leeks, asparagus, etc.)
  • 1 medium egg
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 ounces cheddar, grated

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Cut out circles of pasty and use to line 4 tart pans.
  3. Divide the cooked vegetables among the tins.
  4. Beat together the egg and cream and pour over each tart pan.
  5. Sprinkle with cheese, and bake for 15 minutes.
