- 1 failed cake (vanilla)
- 1 cup butter, melted
- Pecan pie filling
- Pecans, to decorate
- Whipped cream, to serve
- Mix cake crumbs with the melted butter then press into a 9-inch pie dish.
- Blind bake for 15 minutes, uncover, and then bake uncovered for 10 minutes until the base is set.
- Pour in the pecan pie filling, top with pecans and bake for another 30 to 35 minutes.
- Serve warm or cold with whipped cream.
