• 2 glazed doughnuts
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 2 slices streaky bacon, cooked until crispy and cut in half
  • 1 poached egg
  • Maple syrup


  1. Heat your waffle iron and brush with melted butter. Slice the doughnut in half across the middle, then place in the waffle iron and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, until golden brown. Repeat with the other slices of doughnuts. Serve a stack of waffled donuts topped with crispy bacon, a poached egg and maple syrup.
