90s Snacks 4 Ways
90s snacking nostalgia is strong with our homemade Fruit Roll Ups, Pizza Bites, Uncrustables & Dunkaroos.
Ingredients
- 16 ounces vanilla yogurt, chilled
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons sprinkles
- Teddy Grahams, for dipping
Steps
- In a medium bowl, mix together yogurt, honey and sprinkles. Serve with Teddy Grahams.
Ingredients
- 2 slices soft whole wheat bread
- 1 tablespoon creamy natural peanut butter
- 2 teaspoons grape jam
Steps
- Flatten one piece of bread with the palm of your hand. Spread peanut butter and jelly in the center of the bread.
- Top with another slice of bread. Use a sandwich press to cut the bread and seal. Serve.
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons pizza sauce
- 3/4 cup part skim shredded mozzarella
- 1/4 cup diced pepperoni
- Square wonton wrappers
- Water
Steps
- In a bowl, combine sauce, mozzarella and diced pepperoni.
- Lay out 16 wonton wrappers and fill each with 1 teaspoon of filling.
- Dip your finger in water and brush the edges of the wonton with water. Fold up by bringing each triangle together to make a pizza bite.
- Heat oil to 350 degrees in a high-sided skillet.
- Fry until golden, about 2 minutes. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate. Cool for 1 minute before serving.
Ingredients
- 3 cups strawberries, stems removed
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
Steps
- Heat oven to 180 degrees. Line a sheet tray neatly with parchment paper.
- Add strawberries and maple syrup to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Spread strawberry mixture on the parchment in an even layer, paying attention to the edges of the pan.
- Place in the oven to dehydrate for about 2 hours, until tacky yet dry. Start checking after 1 hour 45 minutes — dehydrating time will depend on how juicy your strawberries are.
