Alejandro's Java Horchata

  • Ingredients:
  • 4 cups prepared Starbucks® cold brew
  • 1 cup of rice
  • 8 cups of water
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 8 cups evaporated milk
  • 4 ounces condensed milk


  1. Let's Get Cooking:
  2. 1.) In a bowl, add 1 cup of rice to 6 cups of warm water and let sit for 2 hours.
  3. 2.) In a saucepan, heat the remaining 2 cups of water with 2 cinnamon sticks until cinnamon becomes soft.
  4. 3.) Stir rice mixture with the 2 cups of cinnamon mixture and blend on high in a blender until smooth.
  5. 4.) Stir in evaporated milk and condensed milk.
  6. 5.) Place 4 ounces of the mixture in a glass and stir with ice. Top each glass with 1/2 cup cold brew and enjoy chilled!
