With Napa cabbage and wasabi aioli, this stacked turkey burger is ridiculously yummy.
Ingredients
Asian Turkey Burger
- 2 pounds ground turkey
- 1/2 head Napa cabbage, thinly sliced
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup sesame oil
- 1/2 red onion, finely diced
- 2 green onions, finely diced
- 2 eggs
- 1 roasted red pepper, finely diced
- 1 tablespoon salt and pepper, plus more to taste
- Buns and fixin's, for serving
Wasabi Aioli
- 1 cup mayo
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 2 tablespoons wasabi powder
- 1/2 tablespoon salt
Steps
Asian Turkey Burger
- In a large sauté pan, cook down cabbage with soy sauce, garlic , salt, pepper, and sesame oil, for about 6 minutes on high heat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients for the turkey patties, including the cooked cabbage, and work well with your hands until the mixture is uniform.
- Use a griddle to cook the patties, and make sure to flatten and sear on each side until almost black or heavily charred.
- Serve on buns with aioli and fixin's of your choice.
Wasabi Aioli
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine all ingredients for the wasabi aioli and whisk together until fully incorporated.
